Featuring Acktar’s Hexa-Black technology, these extension tubes provide extremely high absorbance of stray light at grazing angles up to 88°. The ultra-black Hexa-Black material is designed to have wide-band absorption from the UV to the MWIR, providing a stray light rejection ratio up to 8 x 10 -7 . Acktar Hexa-Black C-Mount Noise Reduction Extension Tubes enable higher signal-to-noise ratios (SNR) and lower noise in imaging systems than standard anodized aluminum tubes.
