The driver board enables advanced features including temperature compensation algorithms, response time optimization for optical power changes, and sweep mode which acquires clear images while the liquid lens is still in motion. The V-PE Series expands on this technology with an 8-electrode design, enabling independent control of spheres at ±24 diopters of power, cylinders at ±5 diopters of power, and axis for astigmatism correction without any moving parts, ensuring silent, reliable operation. Corning Varioptic A-PE & V-PE Series Variable Focus Liquid Lenses are ideal for use in barcode readers, industrial inspection, medical imaging, and biometrics applications and are fully compatible with the AF Explorer Camera for plug-and-play operation.
