The V-PE Series expands on this technology with an 8-electrode design, enabling independent control of spheres at ±24 diopters of power, cylinders at ±5 diopters of power, and axis for astigmatism correction without any moving parts, ensuring silent, reliable operation. Corning Varioptic A-PE & V-PE Series Variable Focus Liquid Lenses are ideal for use in barcode readers, industrial inspection, medical imaging, and biometrics applications and are fully compatible with the AF Explorer Camera for plug-and-play operation.
